Had help with pies this year! My two teenage nephews came over yesterday & learned the tricks of the trade. I treated them to decaf peppermint mochas for their labor.

Poppy is my niece pup & had a big ole day with a house full of kids & a pig to run around with! (See pics of blurry Poppy bc that’s what she looked like all day 😆…then her crash)

I take pics of my eye makeup when I do it differently so I can remember it…and then almost never refer to the pics to do the eye makeup again lol

Are Thanksgiving swishes a thing?

My wish for this Thanksgiving is that not a single one of us says something about the amount of butter or sugar or *insert supposedly bad food* in their favorite dish. FAVORITE dish!

Thanksgiving Day is one day out of 365. Let’s not ruin it by thinking our value is tied up in what we eat while we’re making memories with our families & friends.

Let not the memory be about how Aunt _____ always mentions how the sweet potato casserole has 2 sticks of butter and will go straight to her hips.

Let not the memory be that you need to workout before or after to counteract stuffing your face.

Let the memory be that Uncle ____ made the best fried turkey EVER this year! (He does every year 😉)

Let the memory be that we had more people gathered in one place this year than the we have the last three.

Let the memory be literally anything positive. They’re so much better to hold onto. 🤎

Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving filled with precious memories and all your favorite dishes that you only get to eat once a year!

We had BFF broken heart necklaces before friendship bracelets were cool and held each other through some of the best & worst times of our childhood. We drifted apart for over 20 years. TSwift didn’t bring us back together but she sure did bring us together to act like actual children again today. 😆 Love you Betsy! 🫶🏼

Halloween 2023 was fun! John successfully crafted my idea that was horribly planned. And ultimately failed bc he was right and I was wrong. Inscribing here so all will know it happened. Jk I love you Boo, but you know that. 🤣😘

You don't want to know how long I've been looking at podcast hosting platforms. Are they really that different? What's the price difference? How hard is it to switch to a different one down the road if you end up hating it? Should I just use Podbean because it's what I'm familiar with? Or should I use blubrry because the name's cute and I like blueberries? Analysis paralysis at it's finest. 😏

I still impulsively buy things or do things without much forethought. Like buying that giant rainbow pill box. Still loving btw!

The blessing is that when I find something that works, share it with you, and then you tell me that it actually helped you in some way. Like scheduling certain tasks (washing your sheets, skin treatments) for certain days of the week. My beloved Shark Navigator vacuum. All-Clad pans & Cuisinart food processor. Beautycounter. Libby & Hooplah apps. Simplified planners. Blessed is She everything. Fed & Fit meals. (This list is endless.)
