Beautycounter

I linked arms with Beautycounter in February of 2019. Beautycounter is a personal care brand that specializes in safer skin care, body products and cosmetics. They also focus on sustainability in both packaging and products as well as, and most notably, advocating with US lawmakers and Canada’s parliament for more health protective laws around these types of products. Beautycounter put clean beauty on the map.

Direct from Beautycounter’s website:

One by one, we are leading a movement to a future where all beauty is clean beauty. We are powered by people, and our collective mission is to get safer products into the hands of everyone. Formulate, advocate, & educate—that’s our motto for creating clean beauty products that truly perform while holding ourselves to unparalleled standards of safety. Why? It’s really this simple: beauty should be good for you.

Save 20% on your first order

When you sign up to receive Beautycounter emails direct from the company, you’ll receive a code to save 20% on your first order! You are always welcome to unsubscribe later although they do send educational information as well as product tips and promos throughout the year. I think they’re valuable! I offer exclusive specials throughout the year to my personal clients & subscribers. You can sign up for my Clean Community email list here.

There are a few exclusions to the 20% off offer. The short of it is: sets & collections are excluded. Skin care sets are already bundled at a discount, so you can’t add the 20% on top of it. My pro tip for first-time shoppers is to add the products of a skin care regimen set or collection to your cart individually and save 20% on each product. It’s a bigger savings! I love that they’re offering this first-time shopper discount! It’s a great way to introduce new folks to the brand.

Host a Pop-up

Our founder, Gregg Renfrew, chose to set Beautycounter up as a direct-to-consumer retail brand. We’re an omni-channel brand where you can shop directly with the brand in stores or online, or you can shop with a Brand Advocate like me. She believes that our story and the important work we’re doing is best told person to person and I do too. I didn’t pay much attention to Beautycounter’s depth until a friend of mine shared about it. By hosting a pop-up, you can help advocate for safer beauty laws in the US and Canada and earn perks aka free & discounted products when your guests shop during your pop-up.

There is no one way to host a pop-up. Traditionally, they are hosted in-person. Learning how to continue growing a business during the pandemic forced me to get creative with technology. I still love to open my home or visit client’s homes as well. And I also offer pop-ups through Instagram or Facebook, on Zoom or Google Meet, even through email and text. Basically, the possibilities are endless!

If you are interested in hosting, please send me a message through my Beautycounter contact form at the bottom of this page. Or you can email me at jessicagrangerBC [at] gmail.com.

Return Policy

Another great thing about shopping with me at Beautycounter is what I like to call the “empty bottle policy.” You can use a product for up to 60 days and if you’re unsatisfied, you can return it for a full refund. Return shipping is free too! What have you got to lose?
